Biography

20 years to-the-date from the formation of Guns N' Roses, Appetite For Deception was put together in Portland, Oregon. The culprits....5 experienced and diverse musicians with a hunger to continue this epic musical legacy.

Their uncompromising attention to detail, coupled with the tremendous catalog of music which include many songs performed live but not recorded by Guns N Roses, make every show a dynamic rollercoaster ride of energy and emotion as the memories of that era are brought to life.

Appetite For Deception have set themselves apart with a reputation of professionalism and performance. This affords them the opportunity to perform at national motorcycle and automotive events, national festivals, yearly appearances at the world famous Sturgis Rally, casino's and many other great venues across the states. They have also performed for the Jack Daniels Studio No. 7 concert series, enjoyed multiple appearances and performances on live radio programs, and had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many 80's rock icons including L.A. Guns, Firehouse, Enuff Z'Nuff, Skid Row, Dokken, Bret Michaels and more.

Ronny, Mark and Pat Llanos were raised with guitars in their island home playing Hawaiian traditionals. Living in West Germany, they followed their rock interests including British invasion and American rock. After sprouting several of their own songs they released their first studio recordings in 1981. By the early 80's, they were mesmerizing audiences with their amazing talents performing as a remarkable four piece combo that packed clubs and concert halls from Canada to Southern California. They landed their first record deal in 1983 titled 'Just An Illusion'. The LlanosBrothers continued their reign in the Pacific NW up to the early 90's being near their families and continued to perform and record. In 1992,. This started an era that brought their skills to a higher ground performing with famous artists and associating with industry leaders. They toured opening shows with classic rock and blues artists including Buddy Miles, The Byrds, Uriah Heep, and Blue Oyster Cult, and 80's giants such as Skid Row, Great White and Ratt.
