Jon Wayne And The Pain
Jon Wayne And The Pain
The Minneapolis dub-tronic crusaders, Jon Wayne and The Pain, have mesmerized fans for a decade with their hybrid acoustic-electronic sound, uplifting, roots-driven riddims and conscious lyricism. More recently, the Twin City quartet has carved a sizable niche for itself in the electronic and reggae-rock genres, through extensive touring and memorable performances at some of the great Summer events, such as Electric Forest, Summer Camp, Cali Roots, Shangri-la and Wakarusa, to name a few.

On February 24, 2017, Jon Wayne and the Pain released their fourth full-length album, Your Vibe Attracts Your Tribe. The CD release party packed out the legendary First Avenue in Minneapolis, and the release hit #7 on the iTunes Reggae Album charts and #14 in the corresponding Billboard charts. Whereas the local numbers spike into the 1000 range, their numbers are proportionally just as strong throughout the entire upper Midwest, where they have a near-cultish following of devoted fans, who care as much about the message as the music.
