The story of the Enloe is a long one, but it starts with frontman Taylor Enloe so we’ll let him tell it.
“ I started playing music when I was 11 after hearing “ Voodoo Child” by Jimi Hendrix. I begged my grandfather to buy me a guitar. It was an acoustic and I didn’t like it because there was no distortion so I put it in the closet. Shortly after, my parents got an electric for my brother Drew and I to share and the rest is history.

Me and Drew started our first band Wilde Thunder when I was 15, we were pretty bad and the band did not last long. Late into high school I started Sword of Judgement with some friends I met on...Myspace. We all cut our teeth on old-school thrash metal like, Megadeth, Testament, and Slayer so that was the epitome of our sound. We opened for a lot of really cool national bands and it was a great ride.

In 2011 I was invited to go on a missions trip to Ensenada, Mexico. Long story short, I committed my life to Jesus. When I got home I ended the band and the lifestyle that came with it. For the next few years, I removed myself from the music scene and pursued a life in ministry working with a few different church’s leading worship in the greater Tacoma area. Along the way I felt a passion ignite to start writing songs again. Through a connection, I met TJ (drummer of Enloe) and his brother Jared who played bass. We jammed and tried to get something going but the timing just wasn’t right. Fast forward another 2 years, and finally the stars aligned for us to hit the studio. In 2016 the three of us recorded “Been Here Before” Enloe’s first EP with my, then fiance, Mackenzie on BGV’s. After the release I knew I had to start playing shows.
I was visiting a church I had previously played for, my old roommates (husband & wife duo) Jeremey and Jo were in the band that day and they just sounded amazing. I knew right there I had to have them be apart of Enloe and that’s where the band really started.”

Enloe is an Alt- Rock band with an eccentric sound who is set out to create visceral, unforgettable songs, and live experiences.
